Did you miss me this week?
Sorry I didn't draw anything, here's a little catch-up to make up for it!
Hello everyone!
This is catch-up of all the diary comics you missed this week. Something horrid happened, which knocked me out of my drawing routine – I promise to tell you all about it soon. In the meantime, I have spent the weekend catching up on all the comics I didn’t draw this week.
They’ve already been backdated and published on my Substack, but I thought I’d pop them all into this newsletter for you, so you can catch up more easily. From tomorrow morning you can expect your daily update as usual!
Instagram caption: It has felt kind of weird not drawing these every day, and even weirder going back to fill in the days without being able to say what actually happened. Life is like that though, sometimes it just interrupts you. I promise I’ll fill in the story when I can.
Instagram caption: For the record, I know tears don’t fall upwards, and the sunglasses represent my eyes being sensitive to the light. One thing I love about drawing diary comics is creative license!
Instagram caption: Yep, we’ve all been a bit on edge this week, has to be said.
Instagram caption: For context, this is a bit of an inside-joke. One of my ex’s was very precious about his coffee table and worried about getting watermarks on the beautiful wood (it was a rather lovely coffee table)… So when we split up, to help me feel empowered, I got my own coffee table and used it as a stage for personal concerts on Friday nights to celebrate being single and independent. Childish, I know, but also quite fun (not recommended while drinking)
Instagram caption: There’s literally no breathing space when you have pets like mine, and misery is often interrupted in this fashion. It’s actually rather nice. I think being smothered in love wouldn’t be the worst way to go.
Thanks for understanding! I’ll be back in your inbox tomorrow morning.
Until then…
